The Turkic & Eurasian Venture Capital & Private Equity Association seeks to be the ‘Voice of Private Capital and Startups’ in the region, serving the region’s entrepreneurial and investment community. We do this by acting as a forum for knowledge exchange, networking, policy advocacy, and sustainable best practices across our ecosystems which make up the strategic ‘Silk Road’ between East and West.

As a forum for the regular exchange of experiences and ideas among the venture community, the Association serves as both a unified voice of the regional investment community, and as an advocate for venture-backed companies. We focus on the interests of both investors and investees as well as corporates, to create a complete ecosystem for the industry in the region.

How Do We Achieve Our Mission?

CONNECTIVITY: Community Networking - Improving cooperation between key parties to share best practices and to support each other. Creating and hosting regular events with regional and global thought leadership to connect all participants in the ecosystem.

CONTRIBUTION: Policy and Advocacy - Contributing to advancing policy agenda to encourage best regulatory practices by global standards, stimulating the region’s investment and startup ecosystem and making it more united and attractive.

ENHANCEMENT: Education, Training & Advancement - Increasing awareness and knowledge of the sector and empowering those in the ecosystem. Providing industry data and analysis, workshops and seminars and an Ecosystem Mentorship program by leading VC’s and global industry specialists to support talent.

Why is this important?

Responsible investment is instrumental to value creation. We offer support to the growing community in our region and act as the hub for venture capital and private equity firms, founders, institutions, governments and other international players by providing a mechanism to measure, manage and mitigate risks. With the establishment and education of best practices within the region, we aim to accelerate the region's growth, presence and reputation to become a platform of innovation. The Association seeks to expand the circle of the sector, services and effective developments by raising the percentage of entities in the region specialized in venture capital and private equity. As part of its mission, the Association seeks to broaden the scope of the sector, provide services, and implement programs that promote sustainability and development.
